Nouveau parcours écoute de GV – New travel mainsail sheet

I will make better pictures next time I am on the boat. Meanwhile, for those who are interested, the first pictures of the new travel of my mainsail sheet.

The sheet is attached to this block with the soft shackle going through its center.

Next, it goes to the block on the main sail track. Then back to the block above.

Then the sheet passes through a block just ahead of the vang.

At last, it arrives at the mast foot before returning to the cockpit.

  1. Beau bateau !

  2. I sailed beside you for awhile when we were a few days west of Horta. I was on the Catana 431 catamaran Pouplier II. I later saw your boat in Horta. There was something on the hull & sail near the starboard bow. What was that? A day or so prior to that I had some discoloration on my deck in the morning. Maybe due to squid ink or something similar.
